DekkR

You've got the taste. DekkR's got the technique.

DekkR is a DJ mixing app that runs entirely in your browser.

Being a DJ is two crafts in a single move: picking the right track at the right moment, and knowing how to land it.

Taste is the one thing nobody can do for you. Everything else, we can.

Open DekkR

No install. One address, and you're mixing.

Three frictions, and no tool handles them together

Finding the track. Digging is scattered across dozens of platforms, with no link to the tool that plays. You find a track here, download it there, import it somewhere else.

Making it playable. Every file has to be analyzed โ€” BPM, grid, key โ€” before you can hope to mix it. Tedious, and usually manual.

Mixing. Beatmatching, phase alignment, transitions: a learning curve that keeps out everyone who has the ear, but not the hands.

And on top of it all, the weight of pro software: installation, licenses, gigabytes, and all your work tied to one machine.

From digging to the mix, without leaving the tool

1. Find

From a track you're playing, DekkR suggests the ones that follow it: tempo, key, energy, style. Your collection stays yours โ€” on your machine or on your Drive.

2. Make it playable

BPM, grid and key are computed in your browser, offline. rekordbox, Serato and Traktor grids are picked up when they exist. Every track lands in the deck ready to play, with nothing to set.

3. Play

Four decks, scrolling waveform, tempo-locked loops, effects, MIDI controller. Auto-Cue and Auto-Blend carry one track into the next on their own. And you take back control the second you want it.

Why DekkR asks for Google Drive access

Your crate doesn't have to live on the machine you're playing on. DekkR can read the audio files of a Google Drive folder that you pick yourself, so the same collection follows you from one computer to the next.

Read-only, on the folders you choose. DekkR requests the read-only Drive scope (drive.readonly). It uses it to list the audio files in those folders and download them for playback. It never creates, modifies or deletes anything in your Drive.

Analysis runs in your browser. BPM, grid and key are computed locally, on your machine. Your audio files are not uploaded to a DekkR server.

The access token is kept in memory only. It is never written to disk, and it is gone when you close the tab. Removing your last Drive folder makes DekkR forget it immediately. To withdraw the authorization itself, use your Google Account permissions.

What DekkR stores, and what it sends to third parties, is listed in full in the privacy policy.

For the selector

The DJ who lives for digging and for the mix, but whom the technique slows down or wears out. A demanding digger who wants a rich, well-ordered, well-analyzed crate โ€” and to play it without fighting a beatmatch.

The crate is yours. So are the controls.

Automation is a comfort by default, never a cage: you can take over at any level.
